Choose the appliances you want to run and for how many hours a day. The calculator adds up your daily energy use and suggests the smallest MOSON product that covers it.
Your appliances
TVs and LED bulbs use the power of MOSON products. Other appliances use typical values: check the label on your own appliances, which may use more or less.
How the calculator works
For each appliance, it multiplies the power in watts by the hours of use and by the number of appliances, then adds everything up. The result is your daily energy use in watt-hours (Wh).
It adds a 10% margin and suggests the smallest product whose battery stores at least that much. Systems with only USB and 12 V DC outputs are suggested only when every appliance can run on DC. For AC appliances, it suggests products with an AC output.
It assumes the sun fully recharges the battery every day. On cloudy days the battery lasts for a shorter time, so choose the next size up if you need power every evening without fail.
